2010 Class Schedule

We are pleased to announce our class schedule for 2010 at Growing Solutions University. The goal of these classes and the staff at Growing Solutions is to provide a fun interactive setting to inspire, and inform. All ages are welcome from the most experienced of gardeners, to those who are just starting to find the true joys of gardening. Give us a call and we will have a seat for you or your group. March 13 | 10am-11am

Pruning with the Experts- Learn how to correctly prune from our panel of local experts and knowledgeable staff. Bring in plenty of pictures and get all of your questions answered.

March 20 | 10am-11am

All Things Organic- With the advances in Organic products, learn how to control insects, diseases, weeds and fertilize your plants with organics.

March 27 | 10am-11am

What the Heck is That?- We will bring samples from our own yards and encourage you to bring in samples or pictures from your yard so that we can help you to identify your plant, pest or problem. Also get insight to the newest plants for 2010.

April 3 | 10am-11am

A Walk Through the Garden- Enjoy a guided tour through the beautiful gardens at Gantz Farms. Ask our experts as you walk and see first hand the first early signs of Spring.

April 10 | 10am-11am

Extreme Perennials- Do you have that one place that nothing seems to grow? Get the answers in this class. We will talk about all things perennial and solve those hard to plant areas with beautiful perennials.

April 17 | 8am-9am

How to Build a Retaining Wall- We will show you the very basic steps on how to build your own retaining wall. Once you have the rules in place then the sky is the limit on your designs. Get here early to enjoy a FREE bagel and coffee breakfast.

April 17 | 10am-11am-ish

Hypertufa Mania- This is a yearly favorite. Make your own personal planter or stepping stone to decorate your gardens. Our knowledgeable staff will walk you through step by step on how to make your own hypertufa masterpiece.

April 17 | 12pm-1pm

Landscape Design on a Dime-Professor Crystal will walk you through how to design a landscape plan, ensure the survival of your plants, and how to implement your plan while staying within your budget and maximizing your dollars.
